Scientists began a program called HGE [The Human Genetics Experiment]. As an undercover organization that was either unknown, or unbothered with, by the rest of the world, the scientists were given permission to proceed with potential fatal, and inhumane, experiments. The ultimate goal of the organization was to create a kind of 'human weapon'. Or, in general terms, a human was animal-like skills. Capable of flying, jumping long distances, and running faster. A human who can breath underwater. Anything that could satisfy the world's craving to kill each other as quickly, and as effectively, as possible.
The very first experiments were all failed. Hundreds of people died from many mistakes made by the scientists. After months of failed experiments, and fatalities in the thousands, the government shut down the organization. For awhile, anyways. Until the need and curiosity became overpowering. Why not join?
I hate animals and don't want to role-play on a site with animals. Typing from the point of view of a animal is stupid and newb.
You don't have to type from a shapeshifter or chimaera's point of view. There are regular humans. And there is nothing newb about trying to imagine from the point of view of something other than yourself.
The site is too advanced for me. I can't type 200 words.
We offer role-playing help for individuals who want to join, but feel like they aren't 'good enough'. You don't have to be a good role-players. We're here to help.
I don't know what a shapeshifter or chimaera is.
A shapeshifter, on this site, is a human who can 'morph' in to another animal. It can be any animal you choose, even an insect, if your heart so desires. A chimaera is a human with animal 'parts'. Like a human with cat ears or a human with a dog's tail.
I like Xat c-boxes. Why don't you get one?
Xat c-boxes are loud, annoying, and unsophisticated. They would mess up the skin and make the site look unprofessional. It's hard to focus with the constant dinging, and even if you mute the c-box, there's the problem with the thing constantly trying to load and making your computer freeze.
